Texas High School Publications is the combined effort of newspaper, yearbook, video production, and photography students at Texas High School in Texarkana, Texas. THS Publications students are responsible for producing the Tiger yearbook, the Tiger Times Online, and social media channels under @tigertimesths.
Texas High students produce all content for the online newspaper and yearbook. Over the past decade, the THS Publications staff has received Gold & Silver Crowns for hybrid newspapers from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association, Pacemaker Awards from the National Scholastic Press Association, Gold & Silver Crowns from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association, and Gold & Silver Stars from the Interscholastic League Press Conference.
Letters to the newspaper editors are encouraged and may be dropped off in Room 50 or emailed to [email protected] Each letter must include the student’s grade level. Letters are subject to verification and editing.
All editorials, blogs and articles are the opinions of the newspaper staff and do not reflect the views of the advisers, school administrators or the TISD Board of Trustees.
