Rapist States Pollution For Why He Should Not Get the Death Penality

A rapist in New Delhi has requested a life sentence for his crime as opposed to the death penalty, claiming the city’s air pollution will shorten his life regardless. New Delhi’s air quality is currently “more than 20 times what the World Health Organization (WHO) considers “’safe.’” The criminal, Akshay Thakur, is imprisoned in an area in west New Delhi called Mayapurim, where the air quality is especially poor. 

Merriam-Webster’s Word Of the Year is ‘They’

Online and physical dictionary brand Merriam-Webster has announced their word of the year as ‘they.’ This signifies the rise in popularity of using the term as a singular pronoun in reference to nonbinary people.

The Associated Press’ Albums of the Decade

In a list by the AP, Beyonce’s 2016 album “Lemonade” is ranked as the number one album of the decade. Other pieces included were Rihanna’s “Anti” at second place and Beyonce’s self titled album at third.
