Mother Kelley’s Home Cooking moving to location on State Line

The beloved restaurant Mother Kelley’s Home Cooking is moving to a new location on State Line Ave. The building was formerly occupied by MeoMyo’s Cajun Cafe. They took their time finding a place that was just right for their restaurant. 

On The Border now offering plant-based meat tacos 

On The Border is now offering completely plant-based meat tacos. They will be available through March 8. It is made with what they call “Beyond Meat” and a variety of toppings such as lettuce, cheese and pico de gallo. 

Four year old goes blind after getting the flu

Jade DeLucia, a four year old from Iowa, did not receive a flu shot this year and ended up getting the flu shortly after. She ended up going blind, and physicians say she is lucky to be alive. Her parents use this opportunity to spread the message to vaccinate your child.
