Texas High is hosting a LifeShare blood drive on Sept. 9 and 18. It will be in the Tiger Center from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. These drives will be the first of the school year and many students are excited to be able to assist such a noble cause.

The sign-up will be held during all lunches for students prior to the days of the blood drive. Any student younger than 16-years-old cannot donate

Some students are not able to give because they do not meet the height/weight requirements. Please refer to LifeShare and check if eligible before trial. Each donor receives a “Get in the Game” shirt, snacks and the satisfaction of helping those in need.

For students who are planning to give, be sure to remember to eat a good meal before hand, bring a list of any medication you take, student ID and the signed permission slip if you are under age.
