It’s finally that time of the year. The AP tests are upon us once again. For some, these tests will be brand new. Others, like senior Alan Herrera, are AP test-taking veterans.
“You have to take it seriously. It’s not just a normal test, it’s more complex,” Herrera said. “It’s more advanced than your typical End Of Course exam.”
Before the night of the test, get a good night’s sleep and don’t be nervous.
“A lot of the AP teachers will do AP review, so take advantage of that,” junior Raven Morris said. “[Review in class] is sufficient.”
Test-takers should try their best.
“[An AP test] has to be taken seriously,” Herrera said. “It decides if you’re going to get the college credit or not.”
Also, students need to pace themselves and not get hung up one question.
“Take your time. Get the questions right that you know you can get right,” Morris said. “Stay focused.”
Be sure to be on time for your test. Below is a list of testing dates. If you have any questions, contact Mrs. Stark in the office or talk to your academic advisor.
