There will be an early release Thursday at 12:45 P.M. because of the annual parent conferences which will be held 4-6 P.M. This gives parents a chance to meet their student’s teachers and directly discuss academics and behavior with a specific teacher. Report cards will also be handed out during the meetings. If a parent does not attend, students will receive their report card in their second period class Friday.
“The benefit of having parent teacher conference designated days is to allow parents the opportunity to visit with multiple teachers and receive feedback on how their child is performing academically and behaviorally in class while also viewing on-going and completed work in the classroom,” Eleventh grade assistant principal Richard Stahl said. “In addition, teachers have the opportunity to build relationships with parents in a more personal setting. It provides a great experience for both the school and parents.”
