Student council representatives will be in all lunches this week with voter registration forms, and they will also be coming around to various classrooms over the next couple of days. Students must be registered in order to vote for homecoming court and student council officer elections.

“[Registering to vote] is important because it prepares students for what lies ahead in the real world,” student council cosponsor Susan Waldrep said. “When you become an adult, you will have to go and take the time to go through this process in order to speak your opinion about elections and other issues in the future.”
