The Perot Theatre will be hosting ghost tours and screening classic Halloween movies this upcoming weekend. On Oct. 18, people can purchase tickets through the perot website for a haunted tour featuring the history of the Perot. There’s a 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. tour for that Friday night. On Oct. 19, there will be a 1 p.m. and a 3 p.m. showing of the film “Hocus Pocus”.

The Perot is a historic building that was opened in 1924. It’s located downtown and is a theatre with unforgettable scenery that people of all ages will appreciate. The upcoming events will allow you to mix up your regular movie plans by upgrading to a theatre like no other.

“I’m really excited for this event and I think it will be very scary,” junior Nickey Pappas said. “The Perot Theatre has a great atmosphere that would make the movies immersive.”

As the weekend approaches, be sure to check out these unique activities in Texarkana. Whether you watch “The Poltergeist” by peeping through your fingers in fear or you’re on the edge of your seat in anticipation, this event is insured to give you a good scare that will prepare you for Halloween.
