Ashlyn Winters

Ashlyn Winters is a sophomore at Texas High. She was born January 11, 2003, in Greenwood, Mississippi. She moved to Texarkana at the age of 3 and has lived in Texarkana ever since. She is an only child and lives with her parents and two dogs. Aside from her dedication to school, she is also a varsity swimmer for the Texas High Tigersharks. She took part in regionals in 2017 swimming the 100 breaststroke and the 500 free. Each of the events earned her a letterman jacket. Ashlyn enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She manages her schoolwork so that she has free time, during which she enjoys watching old TV shows and cruising the town in her Mustang. On the weekends, she usually catches up on schoolwork and hangs out at home. During school, Ashlyn really enjoys learning about history and the past. Throughout school, she has put in a lot of time and dedication to make good grades. She is a hard worker and a good listener. After high school, she plans on attending college. She hopes to become a physical therapist assistant after college where she can serve others.
