Catie Loomis, sports editor
Catherine (Batman) Loomis is a second-year THS Publications member, and a first-year newspaper staffer serving as the Tiger Times Sports Editor. She is a third-time varsity runner for cross country (two-time regional qualifier) and track & field. Loomis is the secretary of Science Club, and a member of Key Club, Mu Alpha Theta, student council, Quill & Scroll and National Honors Society. She is a Regional Scholastics Silver Key award winner and a real MVP in room 50B. Not only does Loomis enjoy writing, reading and running, but she also enjoys working the field with the sports medicine team. Loomis plans to attend THE University of Texas (go hogs!) in order to become a general medicine doctor. Loomis is excited and stressed for the year and hopes to make Tiger Times the best it can be.Â
