Katherine is a first year newspaper staff member at Texas High. She is still trying to figure out how newspaper works but, she’s optimistic. She is sophomore lieutenant for the Tiger Band and enjoys playing violin and flute with various organizations in Texarkana and Shreveport (I-49 is splendid).  She loves learning and accredits this infatuation to a few of her beloved science and history teachers. She is a member of the congregation at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Attending Easter mass with the pope in St. Peter’s Square and traveling Europe are on her bucket list. She enjoys reading in window sills on rainy days and doing her pre-cal homework is calming… for now.
