When she’s not giving all of her love to her Australian Shepherd/ Blue Heeler mix canine, sophomore Savannah Michelle Downs is volunteering all around Bowie County. Downs can describe her dog and her dream of being a veterinarian in amazingly specific details. Her hobbies include: scrolling through Instagram, failing at crafts and spending time with her beloved family.  You will often see her walking around in a big T-shirt and sweatpants because fashion is overrated. But for today she can be found dreaming about her favorite country, Iceland, fantasizing over finally having a nickname (she prefers to be called Michelle) and living in the here and now.
